A few nights ago I got the urge to craft something, so I created a heart hat ୧(♡_♡)୨. I only needed 3-4 hours, I was really surprised how quick I was and that I could finish it in one go instead of sitting days on it and getting frustrated like I usually do xD.
I even have ideas for more hats, but I realised that I still have 2 other hats in my closet that I have never worn... but having too many hats is better then having not enough, right? xD
Last week I recived the beautiful Favorite Ribbon dress. However it did not fit me at all ;___; I thought that the cut was similar to another Btssb dress I own, so I could just change the elastics from the shirring, but this dress has an entirely different cut. So I already sold the dress, but I thought at least I have to make a few pictures as a memory. I couldn't do great pictures because I couldn't close the zipper at all ^_^'''
So now I have to buy a different outfit for my doll and a dress for me, so I can twin with it, luckily I know that there are some AP outfits and dresses that definitly fit me ^_^'''
Today I recived my giveaway prize from the blog ~*~Rainbow Road~*~. I don't often participate in giveaways, but I read her blog for a while now and I liked the prizes, so I gave it a go. And I actually won *_* I didn't thought that I was the only person who would win all the prizes! I was really happy *_* (She didn't asked me to make a blog post about the prize, but I liked it very much, so I thought I want to share it here ^_^)
This are all the prizes I won, plus 2 wigs.
The first item is a Sailor Moon eyeliner. I always wanted to buy one, but I didn't found them anywhere for a reasonable price. So I'm more then happy to recive one finally *o*
The next item are Diamond lashes! Also something I always wanted to buy, but I wasn't sure which type I should choose, so I never bought any ^_^'''
I also recived a cute pink mirror, and I actually wanted to buy one too for a photoshooting idea!
Then I got a Bite lipstick and lipgloss. It really makes great red lips. The small button-like thing is actually a mirror ^_^
Then I recived a cute Totoro button and a big notebook. I have a little addiction to buy new notebooks all the time, so this comes in very handy :)
Then I recived a super cute calendar-poster from Maxicimam! I really like their brand, but I never bought something from them because I'm not really sure about their sizes (but I hope to buy from them when I'm in Tokyo this summer). The poster also has a pink side, but I liked the dark side more :D I directly hang it up next to my desk.
And the last 2 items are the wigs. They are more cosplay wigs then Lolita wigs, so I maybe will give them as a present to my friends, because they have really great quality, and it would be a pity if they would just lying unused in my closet! But I had fun trying them on xD
Haha I seriously look like a dead ghost with the grey wig xDDD
Today I visited the small Lolita event "Sweet'n'Goth", which was part of the small convention "Harajuku Day". Since there are often beginner-Lolitas at the convention, some Lolitas decided to make a little Tea Party for them and give tutorials about the fashion.
I'm not a beginner but I still visited it, because I thought it would be
a great opportunity for a meet-up. Also some of my friends were there,
but not as many as I thought.
First my outfit. I have to say I really loved my hair and outfit, haven't worn something like this in a long time.
There were around 20 people attending the event. At first it started with a make-up tutorial, which was a nice idea, but it ended up being quite long. Then we could grab some food. A maid café had prepared some cupcakes and sandwhiches. We spended a lot of time talking and eating, and then the organizers realized that we don't have enough time anymore for another tutorial about Lolita shopping ^^'
But there was still a little time left for the posing workshop. I liked the idea very much and this is even something for non-beginners, however I didn't made use of it because there were too many people and I wanted to have a look at the main stage of the convention.
Slightly later there was a Lolita fashion show, I also watched it. After then I directly left because I was very tired and I wanted to go a little shopping.
So in total I stayed like 3,5 hours at the event, way too short for the amazing hair I had ^^'''. I don't know if I will visit it again, because it's really more for beginner-Lolitas, but I think it was great for them.
